September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
In Nevada, hundreds of children are battling various types of cancer each day. The Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation estimates they’ll work with nearly 40 new families this year in addition to those already working with the foundation, and in Las Vegas the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation and Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada will serve more than 600 families. These are numbers to keep in mind as we enter Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, observed throughout September.

The sun is up and a new day is ahead.I don’t want to get up. I want to stay in bed.I don’t work today. I have nowhere to go.To the world, I wish to be a no-show.However, there’s that smell so sweet.It comes from the donut shop across the street.Everything there smells so heavenly.I start my morning with FRESH DONUTS AND COFFEE.
Let’s face it – not everybody’s the best writer, lyricist or poet. But don’t let that stop you!

WE ARE SUPER EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE OUR 2016 CALENDAR... RESCUED DOGS DIGGIN' DONUTS.
With this year's calendar we turned to the one universal truth agreed upon by everyone... dogs are loveable and donuts are delicious. Combining the two was not easy, but thirteen dogs, three puppies and fourteen dozen donuts later, we had the 2016 calendar. And we love it!

National Tell a Joke Day is observed annually on August 16th, and that’s no joke!
