July 25 is Culinarians Day, an unofficial holiday that honors all cooks and chefs who bring good taste and great food in people's lives.
Culinarians are experts in the art and science of cooking and serving food. They can be chefs, cooks, home cooks, bakers and anyone else who is involved in the process of preparing and serving meals. Professional culinarians tend to work in restaurants and commercial kitchens.
While the origins of Culinarians Day are unknown, we can all safely assume that the holiday was invented as a way to thank all the culinarians who make our experience of eating out fun and special.

According to Holiday Insights today is the day to satisfy those cravings, and what better way then with a warm yummy DoughBoys Donut!
For some of us, every day is Junk Food Day. For the rest of us, National Junk Food Day is an opportunity to guiltlessly eat your favorite junk food.
Dietitians will tell you that junk food is any food that contains little nutritional value. We also include foods that are high in salts, fats, and sugars. In other words, junk food is all that tasty stuff that the dietitians, and Mom, say is bad for us.
On Junk Food Day, you get to eat anything you want. Eat any amounts that you want, too.

WE ARE SUPER EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE OUR 2016 CALENDAR... RESCUED DOGS DIGGIN' DONUTS.
With this year's calendar we turned to the one universal truth agreed upon by everyone... dogs are loveable and donuts are delicious. Combining the two was not easy, but thirteen dogs, three puppies and fourteen dozen donuts later, we had the 2016 calendar. And we love it!

No Machines Here!
Here at DoughBoys Donuts we prefer to make our donuts the old fashioned way, by hand.
We often get comments on how much better our donuts taste (which we love, feel free to keep them coming!). DoughBoys Donuts likes to think this is because of the extra care and personal touch we give each of our donuts. Each batch of dough is rolled out by hand and each donut is cut individually. This process does take time, over 3 hours from start to finish.
Here at DoughBoys we prefer this more hands on technique to ensure quality and consistant flavor in everything we sell.
